Intimacy Uncoded Circle — Privacy Policy

Intimacy Uncoded Circle is an online community and digital educational content platform for adults aged 18 and above. It is operated by an individual and is not an incorporated company.

This policy explains what personal information Intimacy Uncoded Circle collects, why, who can see it, how long it is kept and what choices you have. It applies to the website and the member area. The optional Matchmaking feature is also governed by the separate Matchmaking Terms of Use & Safety Policy.

When you create an account: your first and last name, a username, your email address, a password, your date of birth, your country and your relationship status. Your password is never stored as written — only a one-way scrambled version (a hash) is kept. Your date of birth is self-declared and is used to confirm you are 18 or older. Your relationship status (you may choose “Prefer not to say”) is private: it is never shown to other members and is not used for matchmaking. You can change it at any time in your account settings.

In your settings you may also add a province / state and a city, a profile photo (avatar) and profile details. Your names, email, date of birth, city and country are private and are never shown on your profile.

When you take part in the community: discussion posts, replies, lesson comments, likes and saved videos. Posts and comments may be reviewed by our moderators before they are published.

If you choose to use Matchmaking (optional; available while you have active premium access through Support the Circle, or an existing Platinum membership): your matchmaking answers (for example gender, age range, location, relationship goals, appearance, education, languages, children, lifestyle, interests and a short description), optional answers that may be sensitive (faith and ethnicity — you choose whether these are shown to matches or used for matching only), your partner preferences, your photos, an optional introduction video of up to 60 seconds, and your Instagram or Facebook username. We also record your two matchmaking confirmations (18+ and the Matchmaking Terms) with the date and version.

When you report a member or content, or block someone: the report, the reason and any explanation you give.

  • Sign-in: a session record (stored only in a scrambled form) with the date and a description of your browser or device, so you stay signed in for up to 30 days. Repeated failed sign-ins temporarily lock an account.
  • Activity: which lessons you have watched and how far, your saved items, and your notifications.
  • Membership and payments: your plan, price, start, renewal and end dates, payment status, and a record of the terms you agreed to at checkout (including the renewal terms and the no-refund acknowledgement). Card details are entered on the payment provider's own secure page — Intimacy Uncoded Circle never sees or stores your card number.
  • Support the Circle contributions: the amount (in USD), the date and time of each contribution, the 30-day access period it provides and when it ends, its payment status (including any refund or payment dispute), and the payment terms you acknowledged before paying (the exact wording, its version and the time).
  • Agreements: a record of each time you electronically accept the Terms of Use (and acknowledge this Privacy Policy) or the Matchmaking Terms — the version, the exact wording of the boxes you ticked, the date and time, and your name and account email as they were at that moment. These records are stored securely. No phone number, home address or identity document is collected for this.
  • Safety and moderation: decisions made by our Admin and moderators (for example approvals, removals, suspensions and matchmaking approvals) are recorded in an internal audit log.
  • Network address: your IP address is used briefly to limit repeated sign-up and sign-in attempts. It is held in the server's memory only and is not stored in our database.
  • To create and secure your account, verify your email address and sign you in.
  • To confirm that members are adults.
  • To provide the content and features included in your membership or your premium access period, and to manage payments, renewals and cancellations.
  • To run the community: show your posts and comments, moderate content and respond to reports.
  • If you opt in, to find compatible matchmaking introductions, which an Admin reviews and approves before anyone is introduced.
  • To send you notifications on the website and essential account emails (for example email verification and password resets).
  • To keep the platform safe, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, we do not show advertising, and we do not use advertising or analytics trackers.

  • Other members can see your username, avatar, profile details you choose to show, and the posts and comments you publish.
  • Your names, email address, date of birth, city and country are never shown to other members.
  • Matchmaking: only members you are introduced to (after an Admin approves the introduction) can see your matchmaking photos, video and answers. Your Instagram or Facebook username is shared only after you both accept, and only once an Admin has approved it. Phone numbers, email addresses and home addresses are never shared through matchmaking.
  • Our Admin and moderators can see the information they need to review content, approve matchmaking profiles and introductions, handle reports and manage memberships.
  • Reports are confidential: the member you report is not told who reported them.

We use a small number of service providers to run Intimacy Uncoded Circle. They process information only to provide their service to us:

  • Railway — hosting of the website, the database and stored files (photos and videos). The servers are located in the United States, so your information is stored and processed there.
  • Resend — sending account emails such as email verification and password resets, when email sending is switched on.
  • Payment provider — processing membership payments. A provider has not yet been selected; until then payments run only in a test mode and no real payments are taken. This policy will be updated to name the provider before live payments start.

Intimacy Uncoded Circle uses one essential cookie to keep you signed in. It is not used for advertising or tracking. Your browser may also store small display preferences on your device.

  • Your account information is kept while your account exists.
  • If you delete your account (Settings → Delete account), your account, private details, profile, posts, comments, likes, saved items, watch history, notifications, matchmaking profile, photos and video are deleted permanently.
  • If you delete your matchmaking profile, your matchmaking answers, photos and video are deleted.
  • Expired sign-in sessions are removed automatically.
  • Some records may be kept where needed for safety, fraud prevention, accounting or legal reasons — for example payment records, reports about other members and the internal audit log of Admin decisions (from which your account is unlinked when you delete it).
  • Agreement acceptance records may be retained after you delete your account, unlinked from it, for legitimate legal and recordkeeping purposes, in accordance with applicable privacy laws and our documented retention policy. They are stored securely, only authorized Admins can see them, and they are never shown to other members.
  • Connections to Intimacy Uncoded Circle are encrypted (HTTPS).
  • Passwords and sign-in sessions are stored only in scrambled (hashed) form.
  • Database rules limit each member to their own private information; Admin tools are available only to Admin and moderator accounts.
  • Matchmaking photos and videos are private files: they can be opened only by you, by members you have been introduced to, and by our Admin and moderators.

No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

  • See and download your information: Settings → Export my data.
  • Correct your private details in Settings.
  • Delete your account at any time in Settings.
  • Matchmaking: pause, withdraw or delete your matchmaking profile at any time.
  • Choose which notifications you receive in Settings.

For any other privacy request or question, contact us using the details below. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to a privacy regulator (in Canada, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada).

Intimacy Uncoded Circle is only for adults aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we will close it.

We may update this policy when the platform or the law changes. Material changes will be communicated appropriately, and any legally required notice or consent will be obtained.
